What to Expect at Tryouts
Format
Three consecutive evenings of evaluation. Players are assessed on skills, attitude, coachability, and effort. We encourage attendance at all three sessions.
What to Bring
Basketball shoes, athletic shorts and shirt, a water bottle, and a great attitude. No need to bring a basketball.
Cost
Tryouts are completely free. There is no obligation until your son is offered and accepts a roster spot.
Eligibility
Open to all boys entering grades 5 through 8. No prior experience required. We welcome players of all skill levels.
New for Season 3: Everything Included
This season, every player who makes a roster gets the full Jr Knights experience. No separate sign-ups, no tiers, no add-ons. Your son's typical week includes:
- ◆Skills workouts with Coach Maniscalco
- ◆2 team practices (1 skill-based, 1 team concepts)
- ◆25-30 games over the course of the season
- ◆Sunday night speed & agility training with Coach Vitel (optional)
- ◆Mental performance classroom sessions with Coach Sullivan
- ◆Program events: college game outing, Northridge Prep varsity games, end-of-season tournament
$1,200 per player
One all-inclusive fee for the full October through March season. That covers every practice, 25-30 games, weekly speed and agility, mental performance coaching, skill development, gym space, and direct access to our coaching staff. No tiers, no add-ons, no surprise costs. Payment plans are available upon request.
